EasyJet introduced a similar charge last year, unfortunately. I guess the airlines have lost so much money that they need to claw as much back as possible.

The dimensions 13x10x8 are almost a cube - like a hatbox from the 1940’s. Is there any personal carry-on manufactured that has those dimensions? A purse or small bag might fall inside the limits, but what actually would beet all three?

Flying is getting more add-on costs all the time. My sube the charges have always been there, just included with the airfare. As the advertised fare goes down, incidental prices up up. At least they haven’t made them pay toilets, yet.
