Aer Lingus restrictions

We are flying from Dublin to Glasgow tomorrow. The airline’s restrictions indicate no power banks are allowed in carry on or checked. We’ve not faced this before. Love having one handy when out and need to charge up the phone; hate to leave our two behind. Anyone faced this and/or know if this is enforced.

Thanks!

Some of the newer carry on bags have built in power banks. Airlines want those removed from the bags and carried separately. I believe that is what they are referring to.

After all, a power bank battery is similar to what you have in your phone.

their website for this is horrible.

they say no power banks but when looking at the 'smart luggage' section it specifically discusses removing the power bank from the luggage and carrying it onto the plane, in the cabin.

but drilling down further, this pdf says that under 100WH are allowed in the cabin. https://www.aerlingus.com/media/pdfs/guide-to-dangerous-goods.pdf?_gl=1*1kztdxx*_up*MQ..&gclid=Cj0KCQjw_qexBhCoARIsAFgBlett4h9_P3L4O3Z5fZ9SZp3gqul1oUYmcdhgdNad31Jw-GEU8PeR6kIaArkTEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

Many thanks for the replies. I’m hopeful we don’t have to leave these behind.
