Aer Lingus - Food?

We are flying from San Francisco to Dublin in August. It is a 10h 25m flight and was booked through United. When I look at the detail of the flight it says Meals are not offered for this flight. I find that difficult to believe, but I wanted to verify with anyone that has actually flown from the U.S. to Dublin. Will we need to bring our own food or will we be served food like on every other airline I’ve flown on while flying to and from Europe? Thanks.

I always check the airline site when you do something like this because the codeshares don’t always have complete information. Here’s what you find on Aer Lingus

“It's our pleasure to serve you a delicious complimentary meal on every transatlantic flight. There are special meals available for anyone with specific dietary requirements. We also carry a full bar with alcoholic beverages and snacks from our Bia range available to purchase”

Now edible is a completely different matter and it is airline food so you might just want to take your own food anyway but if you’re willing to risk it😂

Just flew Aer Lingus from SFO to CDG. You do get a meal. Typical airline food. Flight was fine.
