How far in advance should I make train reservations in Italy for June 27. The max. advance is 60 days, should I use all of it or can I afford to wait.

How far in advance should I make train reservations in Italy for June 27. The max. advance is 60 days, should I use all of it or can I afford to wait.
I would normally only buy these a day or two at most ahead of time and when I'm on the ground in Italy. It is a lot cheaper and not that difficult.
Arnold is correct unless booking overnight trains.
