Aberdeen Scotland Airport

Hi all,

I wanted to see how much time to allow at the airport

Flight details

  • May 27th evening or early May 28th
  • British Air or Easyjet back to London
  • Will have one bag to check

I believe both airlines allow online check in so it seems that I will just need to check my bag and clear security. I was thinking that 90 minutes would be sufficient but have never been through this airport. I would appreciate your thoughts regarding the amount of time I have allocated.

The Aberdeen Airport website says to be at Airport at least 1.5 hours before departure for domestic flightso you should be fine.

Your minimum arrival may be dictated by the baggage drop requirements. British Airways’ website states baggage drop closes 45 minutes before departure for short haul flights and 60 minutes for long hauls. There are exceptions for some destinations. I could not pull-up EasyJet’s requirements.
