A steam train to Windsor!

If we have time for this while in London in May, I will wave at your office window, Emma.

My first thought was Windsor (ON)? Are they going to add a steam train to Detroit (MI)? Given that this is in the Transport forum and not in the England forum, I hope I am allowed to be confused......

Luckily Emma you'll only have to stand up and wave for 3 trains and only on Tuesdays. :)

I,m headed to Windsor Monday but alas won't be able to travel in such style 😢

I guess they will be just outside the Ultra Low Emission Zone, so 3 or 4 coal fired steam trains in and out of the city every week will be OK then....

So the first day of operation is the day we fly home from London. Our flight is in mid-afternoon, so technically we “could” ride the early train to Windsor and then go to Heathrow from there. But we would rather be outside walking on the morning of a long-haul flight. So we will give it a miss, this time.
