A new option for night travel.....

I didn't see this posted elsewhere on the forum.

Those who don't mind travelling at night between locations have a new option - https://www.twiliner.com/en . It sounds like a good idea to save the cost of a hotel room, but it may not be ideal for all travellers.

Here's a recent review of the service - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AE4EyvXlt0c .

I know you didn’t mean to, but your post comes across as clickbait. Can you please add some information? What type of transportation is it? Between which cities?

Twiliner is an international night bus initiative that combines travel through Europe with comfortable business-class seats that convert into a fully flat bed with the push of a button. This is a relatively new Swiss startup (launched in late 2025).
The buses run directly between the following major European destinations:
• Switzerland: Zurich, Bern, and Basel.
• Netherlands: Amsterdam and Rotterdam.
• Belgium: Brussels.
• Spain: Barcelona and Girona.
• Luxembourg: Luxembourg City.

I traveled on overnight buses a bit when I was in Turkey around 20 years ago, but I was younger then and able to sleep more while being mobile. I'm not sure I would do it today, but it sounds like an interesting option. Thanks for posting, Ken!

Dutch,

The post wasn't intended to be "clickbait". I assumed readers would also check the YouTube video.

Ken, great post. Not a form of transportation for everyone, but at least thanks to you i learned something. Might come in handy some day.

@Ken; I’m very careful when it comes to clicking on links on the internet. It’s something I don’t do without at least some idea of what I’m clicking on.
It would have been helpful if you could at least lifted the veil a bit on what kind of transport it was. Now the only way to find out was to click on the link…. :-)
