TGV from CDG

I'm arriving at CDG, terminal 1 at 6:55 a.m. and trying to decide if I can make the 8:30 train to Lyon and then to St. Raphael. I've seen different estimates of the time needed for this process. Any thoughts? The direct TGV to St. Raphael doesn't leave until 11:40, which is a long time to wait.

According to the timetables on voyages-sncf.com, if you take the 08:30 TGV out of CDG, you will connect in Marseille, not Lyon, when you continue on to Saint-Raphael. You need to allow up to one hour to clear immigration/passport control. If your plane arrives on time and if you have already booked your ticket and printed it yourself so you don't have to stand in line at a station window at CDG, then you just might make it. Should you count on it? Absolutely not! There is another TGV you could take before the direct one at 11:40. Leave CDG at 09:58, connect in Aix-en-Provence, and arrive in Saint-Raphael at 15:28.
