Yes! I purchased one each for my granddaughter and me on July 1st in Dresden. We rode trams multiple times in Dresden, took the tram to the Hauptbahnhof, purchased an IC ticket to Berlin, then rode public transport for nearly a week all over Berlin, out to Sachsenhausen, and finally the S-Bahn to the airport—all for 9 Euro! Wonderful bargain.
that's valid for one calendar month, only in this June, July or August. Then - poof - it is gone again...
I read they are considering extending it but no decision has been reached yet. In any case, it certainly saved us some money (and my tired feet were grateful!)
The finance minister has announced it will not be extended past August.
