We are going to Germany in December 2012. Wanted to find out if the Rhine River Cruises run in December? We would like to go from Bacharach to St. Goar just to see the beautiful scenery and say we cruised the Rhine. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!

The regular boats on the Rhein (K-D) stop running regularly scheduled cruises in the fall. They might have some special cruises in December. K-D's website is www.k-d.com/english/home.

Check Viking - I think they're doing some in conjunction with the Chirstmas markets

I believe the Viking cruises are longer than what you want. You can similar scenery from taking the train.
