Hello, I am wondering if, when you purchase Bernina Express tickets from Lugano to Chur while having a Swiss Flexi Pass, how much of the trip is covered by the pass (since the bus portion begins in Italy, which is not in Switzerland)? If I only have Swiss Flexi Pass, should I plan on paying full price for the bus portion? Thanks!

The whole Bernina Express route is covered by a Swiss pass or Flex pass, even though the bus portion goes through Italy. Lugano, where it starts, is in Switzerland. You will see this route shown on the map that accompanies your Swiss pass when you buy it. Or Google "Swiss synoptic map" to see it online.

You will love the Bernina Express. My husband and I did that trip and the William Tell route, two years ago.
