You've waited too long to get the cheapest discount fare, but if you book NOW on the East Coast site, you still can get standard class tickets for London Kings Cross-Edinburgh Waverley on 18 May for £42.05/person. For the return on 23 May there are some departure times that show a standard class fare as low as £27.15/person. Do separate bookings and print your own tickets for each booking. When you get to the page in the booking process where you are asked to enter your name, e-mail address, and billing address, you'll need to click on the "enter international address" link. It's located directly below the "Find address" link. Just in case you're not aware of it, you also could take the ScotRail Caledonian Sleeper between London Euston and Edinburgh Waverley.
