I've read several things but would like to know the best way to travel in Ireland. Bus, Train or car?

You'll see more in less time if you drive. Trains are pretty much scarce.

A couple of years ago, I was planning a trip to Ireland. I quickly discovered that trains don't go to very many places, but I also found renting a car was very expensive. Once I discovered the bus website, I put together an itinerary for for 2 people for 1/3 the cost of renting a car.
