Tour ends in Bodrum - need to get back to Istanbul to make connections for return flight to US. Having difficulty finding flights that match up, with bus/taxi times included, that don't add days onto total return

Go to Tripadvisor.com, type in "Istanbul forum" in the search box. There are several experts that live in Istanbul that can help you with your scheduling. Spending a night in Istanbul prior to your flight would be a good idea. I think most international flights leave in the morning and getting there very early might be impossible.
