My flight leaves out of Marco Polo Airport at 6:35 am. What is my best option to getting there the quickest? I believe I need to be there 2 hours before departure. Also, I will only be in Venice 1 night. Any ideas where I should stay?

Leanne, This question has been asked many times here - it seems that US flights from Venice tend to be pretty early. I will have time later to have a hunt in the archives for previous answers. The short answer tends to be, except for those who feel they must stay near the airport, is that the transportation is up and running early enough so that you can stay where you would like in Venice. You could go to P. Roma and take the bus, take an Alilaguna boat to the airport, or take a private water taxi.
