chunnel

We took the chunell from London to Paris years ago but does the chunnell go elsewhere? I am planning a trip to the Netherlands and Belgium and Normandy. I am trying to figure out where it would be best to fly into and out of. Fly into London and take the chunnel? Fly into AMsterdam and at some point takethe chunnel back to London and fly home or just take a train to Paris and fly home?

Chunnel is kind of a slang term and only applies to the hole in the ground. It is the Eurostar and it goes to Brussels or Paris from London. I generally find open jaw tickets to be the most economical for price and time.

Frank is right on, fly open jaw, say into Belgium and home from Paris or other way around, you do not need to go to London at all. We flew into London and then had to change planes to get to Amsterdam and what a waste of time.

There are no through trains between London and Amsterdam: you will always have to change trains in Brussels.
