I posted on this previously, but somehow lost the excellent advice. Simple question: can I buy my RER/metro tickets at a machine at CDG with my credit card? I am Canadian so my card has a chip. Last year stood in a huge lineup to purchase tickets.

Hi Leslie, yes the machines at CDG takes credit card. I myself had to wait in a huge lineup to purchase tickets, and used my credit card, but discovered that these RER tickets have, I recalled, one year validity, so I bought the number of tickets I needed for future rides on this line to avoid future lineups! Not so sure about metro tickets at CDG, but these are for sale at any metro station in Paris.

Leslie, There is also a change machine near the RER/Metro ticket machine. The machine will change 10 & 20 euro notes.
