I want to find a way to travel overland to Malta next summer. Is there any way I can get there mostly by train from Paris? Or, where is the nearest Spanish train station so I can drive the rest of the way?

Unless there is a town in Spain called "Malta" that I'm not aware of, Malta is an Island in the Mediterranean Sea not far from Libya. For directions from the UK try this site: www.seat61.com/Malta.htm

I know - but I've managed to find a ferry that goes from Barcelona.
I thought I'd have to go from further south across the Med rather than from northern Spain, so it just means putting the car on in Paris and then onto the ferry in Barcelona.
