I noticed the airfare to Croatia flights is outside reality. Is there an economical way to reach Croatia from Seattle. I was thinking of taking a flight to somewhere in Italy, then connecting to a Crotia city by boat. Any suggestions?
Thanks
What's "outside reality"? I paid $1375 for Seattle to Zagreb for this September. It's more than I might pay to Paris or London, but considering it's further and less well served than those cities, it's not bad. In Rick's Croatia book he has a good section on tips for getting to Croatia, including ferry travel from Italy. There is also a very good website called Croatia Traveler (google it)that has great tips. It's quite time consuming, but doable. I personally consider my vacation time valuable, so for me, a ferry from Italy is not a good use of time/money. But you might disagree--check out the resources I gave above, see how much it costs and how long it takes, and compare that to how much you save by just flying to Venice.
