Can anyone advise me of the most economical way from CDG to Orly in Paris? Thanks, Judy
1. Take the RER B train from CDG to Antony. Take the driverless OrlyVal shuttle train from Antony to Orly. The combined fare is €18.55. 2. Take Air France bus #3 non-stop from CDG to Orly. The fare is €19.00. If traffic conditions are good, the bus will be a little faster, but service is more frequent on the RER. Buses run every 30 minutes and the trip takes around an hour. If you have lots of time, the truly cheapest way is to take city bus #350 from CDG to Gare de l'Est. The cost is three Metro/bus tickets (a total of €5.10). Take Metro line 5 from Gare de l'Est to Gare d'Austerlitz and the RER C from there to Pont de Rungis. A single ticket costs €3.80. Take the airport shuttle bus from Pont de Rungis to Orly. The fare is €2.50. It should take about an hour to get from CDG to Gare de l'Est, another hour to get from Gare de l'Est to Pont de Rungis, and about ten minutes to get from Pont de Rungis to Orly.
Thank you so much! That gives me several options to consider.
