We are ending a river cruise in Nuremberg, and will be taken by coach to Frankfurt. What is most efficient to get from Frankfurt airport to Paris by train?

Why not skip the bus ride take the train from Nuremberg to Paris?

With enough advance purchase (up to 92 days), you can get discounted Europa-Spezial Frankreich tickets from anywhere in Germany (including Nürnberg) to Paris for as low as €39 pP. (Amusingly, 2 of the 3 connections I found from Nürnberg go through Frankfurt Hbf). These are non-refundable, date and train specific, so you need to be able to count on an arrival time in Nürnberg.
