My husband and I are flying into Barcelona on the same day, different times, different airlines. We need to find a good place to meet up. He will be coming from U.S. on American Airlines and I will be coming from within Spain on Iberia - arriving within 1 hour of each other. We weren't sure how many baggage claim areas there are, and whether we'd have a snowball's chance of finding each other (no cell phones). Any suggestions? Thanks.

Outside the airport, in front, is where buses into the city pick up passengers. If the weather is good, you could wait there..... My recollection (2008) is that the airport is not large. The baggage claim area wouldn't be large. I was flying on EasyJet...... You could try going to the airport's website. Just go to (name of airport) on Google and see what you get.
