I want to use the Roma Pass. All the reservations I see on line for Museums ask you to pay ahead of time. How do I make reservations ahead with out paying so I can use Pass when I get to Rome.

The Borghese requires advance reservations. If you are using the pass, you have to make the reservations by phone. Best to ask your hotel to do it for you. You pay nothing (except the phone company).
You can book Vatican Museums tickets online, but you must prepay and print out the voucher - this gets you through the much shorter security line.
