We booked Hotel Regina in Sorrento because it was in town and close to the port. Any input on it or other recommendations?

As you've already booked, other recommendations probalby won't help. However, I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Desiree in Sorrento. It's a true "RS Classic" Hotel, but very comfortable and the owners are wonderful.

The Hotel Regina (at Via Marina Grande 10?), is at the Marina Grande which is Sorrento's fishing harbour and either a bus ride or about a 15 minute (part uphill) walk to the centre of town. The ferry/hydrofoil harbour is Marina Piccola.
