Trying to get from Stresa to Windstein France or Strasbourg , France if necessary. May need to rent a car to get from strasbourg to windstein. Any Ideas? Thanks

It looks to me like the closest train station is at Niederbronn-les-Bains. However, I don't know if there would be taxi service from there to Windstein. Renting a car in Strasbourg may be your best option.
For detailed timetables use the German Rail site. After you get summary timetables for either Stresa to Niederbronn-les-Bains or Stresa to Strasbourg, click on the arrow to the left of the departure time(s) of your choice to see the connecting points.
