Train from Rome Airport to Florence

I leave next week for my first visit to Italy. After a long flight I will get on a train to Florence. I seem to still be confused on which train to take. I want to get there fast and comfortable. Is there really that much difference between 1st and 2nd class? Thanks

First take the Airport train to Termini station -14 E and about 40 minutes. Then the Express to Florence takes about 1 hour & 40 minutes for about 40 E. I would not spring for the 1st class upgrade. Rather quick, comfortable trip.
