Does anyone know if there are escalators in the Milan train station or if you have to drag suitcases up flights of stairs?

If I recall correctly, the station is actually quite modern inside with fancy moving ramps - not just your regular old escalators.

Had to double check Paul - just to be sure I wasn't going crazy ;-) It is Milan that has recently installed a very nice, modern system of moving ramps. They were still working on amenities when I was there last fall but that work should be done by now.
