Does anyone know of a site to obtain a map of the terminals at Munich Airport? Want to see how close the terminals are. Thanks, Ruth
http://www.munich-airport.de/en/consumer/index.jsp Just flew through there yesterday. Very easy airport to get around.
Are you sure you have to change terminals? Regardless, the change from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1, for instance, is just a few minutes walk across a covered courtyard to the service building with shops, a post office, ticket counters, then follow the sign to your concourse.
Just google Munich airport, a choice of websites will come up and select the airport website that you want.
All the terminal are connected via the covered plaza and underground walks aligned with shops and stores. The train to downtown Munich or the main railway station starts just across the plaza from Terminal 2 - so is a bit of a walk from T1 but doable. The rental car desks are just where the escalators down to the train stations are - both outside Airbräu, a mirco-brewery in form of a Bavarian beer garden - nice and not overpriced. In terms of dimensions of the airport think Denver, CO - if that is of any help...
