We are looking to travel from Venice to Pula Croatia(or somewhere around there). What is the best way to get there? Ferry, rental car, train or air? How would renting a car and going through two countries work? Is it hard? Thanks! Ashley

When I did that trip a couple of years ago I took a bus from Venice to Pula with a change in Trieste and picked up a rental car in Pula that I dropped in Split. If I was going to do it again I would take the train from Venice to Trieste and catch the bus from there.
