we will be taking friends to train sta. and then picking up other friends at airport. Would it be easier for our airline friends to come to train sta? How far is airport from train sta?

According to viamichelin.com, it's 4km from the train station to the airport and the estimated driving time is 8 minutes.

Lynn, i have not done it but i found the info
for someone else.
You friends can take the train from Pisa aeroporto
to Pisa centrale for 1.10 euros, takes 5 min.
There seems to be a train around every 20 minutes.

It is super easy to take the train to the airport or Pisa station. Make sure they buy a ticket and validate it before they get on the train.
