What is the easiest way to get from barcelona to cinque terre?

Ok - Now I see Steve's other post and that reminds me that we can all be on his yacht this summer and make that trip. Seriously, I would continue the drive from Barcelona - yes - there is a drop off charge - Yes - you're on an expensive vacation that costs money - So, why scrimp on the wrong things??
