Help! planning on spending a night in bardolino on lake garda in october. my question is that i've looked at schedule, if i leave early on a sunday morning 7:50am it says it stops in desenzano so do i have to back track since i want to get off train in peschiera del garda. (put in a march date.) can someone help me out. we want to be there about 10am. do trains run different on weekends compared to weekdays. thanks for info ahead of time

Yes, for that particular departure time (07:57) from Venezia Santa Lucia, the train you would take when you connect at Venezia Mestre does not stop in Peschiera del Garda. You would have to change trains in Desenzano and backtrack to Peschiera del Garda. You would arrive in Peschiera del Garda at 10:54.
You could leave Venezia Santa Lucia at 06:58, connect at Venezia Mestre and Verona, and arrive in Peschiera del Garda at 08:46.
Or you could leave Venezia Santa Lucia at 09:50 and go directly to Peschiera del Garda, arriving at 11:16.
