Can you recommend economically transfer options between Florence Italy airport and downtown area (Duomo) for 6 people traveling together? Also same for travel from old Rome area to airport?

Romecabs quote 65 euro door to door for 6 people.
Train from Termini to FCO = 11 euro x 6, plus maybe taxi fare from hotel to station.
Little in it economically if you can walk from your hotel to the train station but private transfer wins hands down in terms of convenience and comfort.
