My husband and I (senior citizens) plan to explore Sicily by car. Does anyone have a suggestion for an easy location for picking up/return the rental car?
We plan to arrive Catania and depart Palermo.

We (senior citizens also) picked up our car in Palermo, where we had stayed for several days; and we returned it to the airport in Catania. The latter was very easy, as it's a rather small airport. Since you are doing the reverse, you should look into picking up in the city of Catania, as it's always more expensive to pick up at an airport. We always try to return to an airport because trying to find an in-city address can be a nightmare with a car. Have the agency person show you the best way route out of the city.
