I will be going to Poland in July 2010. Generally speaking, when should I try to book a flight for the best price. Nine months, six months, three months before I leave?
There is no hard and fast rule for anticipating the best time to get the best prices for airline flights. Airlines analyse their seating loads almost by the minute, based on all sorts of factors. For example, if seats aren't going as fast as predicted, they may sell off some of them six months in advance...and if that goes well, they may not put any on sale after that. So go to the websites Steve has suggested now...and when you find a price you're happy with, snap it up.
