Tower of Pisa

Make sure you go get your ticket with an assigned time as soon as you get there. Depending on how busy they are, there can be a wait of several hours.

We climbed it for the 2nd time on our last visit to Italy this past July. I made reservations prior to leaving home which worked well as the summer months are crazy busy! Be sure to bring your passport as they did ask for it when pkg. up our tkts. I had read nothing re. this and only had a copy of my passport which they accepted. Have fun!

I understand that the authorities in Pisa have decided to install a clock at the top of the Leaning Tower. They said "What's the use of having the inclination if you don't have the time."
