We are leaving Prague and heading north to Poland for the day. Do we need a toll way pass like in the Czech Republic? Anything else we need to know about driving in Poland?

According to my Michelin map book, there is some form of payment required to drive on the highways in Poland, although it doesn't indicate if this involves paying tolls or buying a pass.
