I am thinking about planning a trip with a few days in Amsterdam, then train to Bruges for maybe 1 night or 2, then train to London for maybe 4 nights. Does anyone know what my best option would be for getting train tickets? Should I buy/reserve tickets in advance or buy them when I get there? I'd also greatly welcome any suggestions for hotels or any other advice. I will be traveling with my husband.
Thank you!
From Amsterdam to Bruges you don't need to make any kind of advance reservations. Simply purchase your tickets at the train station on the day of your departure, fares are about 35 euros and there are departures at least once and hour---you will have to change trains in Antwerp. From Bruges to London, you will get a better price by purchasing tickets in advance at www.eurostar.com If the website asks you where you live, say "UK". Your Brussels to London Eurostar ticket entitles you to free a trip from Bruges to Brussels-Midi station.
Thanks so much!!! That looks easy enough.
