Swiss Pass Question

I will be using a Swiss Pass on an upcoming trip. One of my train travel days includes traveling from Chamonix (I know this is included on the Swiss Pass), though Switzerland and on to Colmar (all in the same day). My question is, how do I pay for the France portion of this trip (ie from Basel to Colmar)? Do I buy this in Basel or can I purchase this portion before leaving Chamonix? Thanks

You can buy this ticket in Chamonix-Mt. Blanc. Just show your pass and the agent will make the appropriate fare adjustments.
