Any thoughts on traveling by train from Prague to Ljubliana? I can either connect through Salzburg or Vienna. Salzburg looks like it is very mountainous. Anyone been on either or these trains or have any advice? Thanks

Hi, Keillie. I've traveled the Salzburg route, and the Vienna route as fair as the border, but not all the way).
The Salzburg route is a beautiful route, going thru the Alps is just gorgeous, and then through the Bled area. Salzburg is also a great place to stretch your legs if allowed.
The other direction is also some beautiful scenery after the first how or so out of Vienna. Not sure after that.

is the website I used to purchase my ticket. The total cost was $82 for two people second class. Rail Europe is selling first class for $200 a person.
