I will be traveling from Bruges, Belgium to London, but ultimately to Glasgow or Edinburgh. I have looked at taking the Eurostar from Paris (I will be there first) to Brussels, than a train to Bruges. I could go back to Brussels then to London and on to Edinburgh, but if there is a shorter, cheaper alternative to get to Scotland, I could bypass London. I am traveling in early August. I haven't had any luck finding a ferry, but am open to that! Any suggestions would be appreciated!!!
I quickly did a Google search, there are ferries from Holland to Northern England.
Try http://www.ferryticket.gr/. There are ferries from Rotterdam and Hook of Holland to Eastern Scotland.
