I have seen on this forum, and others, that there is a discount if you purchase tickets 62 days ahead, but on the RENFE website, it appears this is not the case. I am looking to go in September. Any advice?

Mike...tickets become available for sale 62 days in advance, and most routes do offer limited numbers at discount prices. So you will have to wait until the evening before the 62 days, (some time in July), then jump on line after 6 p.m. your time and grab a deal. Be aware that, while they load the next day's schedules in starting at midnight, they may not all show up for an hour or two.
