I cannot seem to book tickets on Thalys using my VISA. It seems there is a Europe Visa and they will not accept USA issued Visa. Am I doing something wrong? I had no problem booking Eurostar tickets. Any suggestions.

You are the first person I've come across who has reported not being able to use a North American credit card on the Thalys site. I suggest that you call your card provider and see if your card has been blocked for further transactions in Europe because of what a computer sees as unusual--and therefore possibly fraudulent--use.

This happened to me a couple of months ago booking a Paris to Amsterdam trip. It rejected my two credit cards (one Visa, one MC) and accepted my MC debit card. A month later my credit union sent me a replacement debit card because of some sort of security breach....I don't know if it is related though.
