3-day Vaperetto pass

Is this better than paying each time? Will this pass get us to Murano? Some advice please. Thanks, Steve

Steve, it's actually a 72-hour pass. You can get them in lesser hours as well. You can buy these passes at the Hellovenezia stand just outside the train station.

And yes, it will get you to both Murano and Burano. For Murano, you can take either the #41 or #42 vaporetto or the newer DM (Direct Murano) from the Piazzale Roma.

Definitely. Single trip vaporetto tickets are quite expensive relative to what you will pay for a 72 hour pass. And they get you to wherever the vaporetti go - Murano, Burano, Torcello, the Lido, etc.

You can also look at the 72 hour transportation card from Venice Connected. Here's a great tip, buy it in advance online (at least 7 days) and get a pretty good discount. This is what we used and it was a whole lot cheaper 24.75 euros per person instead of 33.

The pass will work for Murano as well. If you are going to Murano take the DM, it doesnt make as many stops as the other boats.
