We are arriving in Paris at approx. 1:30 and will pick up a car at the airport-----does anyone know how long the drive is to St. Michel----What is the drive like? Thank you for any help you can give us. We are such country bumpkins. Corinne

This site will answer your questions about the driving time: www.google.com/maphp?hl=en&tab=wlTo get started, input this exact phrase in the opening box at the top: cdg, france.Important: Add about 25% to the driving time (that's the experience of most people here), and also add time for getting through the airport, to the rental car pick up point, and by that time you might start to run into Paris commute traffic, which will add more time.Bottom line: No one can give you an accurate time for your trip, but at least this site will give you something to go on.

I'm not sure how long the drive lasts. But once you get outside the Paris metropolitan area, the drive is easy. Once you exit the highway, signs point you in the direction of Mont St. Michel. Plus, you can see it from miles away.
