Malone has offered me a weekly rental (Rent in Cork; Return in Shannon) for 115€ which is considerably less than Hertz which wants 195€. MasterCard says they will cover me and to reject CDW. Any experiences with Malone? Good/Bad?

No experience with Malone, but I would suggest you don't listen to Mastercard! I was told by Mastercard that I was covered, too, so I rejected the rental CDW. When I had a little accident, Mastercard refused to pay and I was stuck with the bill. Never again! Get the CDW and super CDW.
