We have 2 travel days and unsure which route to take. We leave Lake Como and must arrive in Munich 3 days later. We have 3 days, 2 nights available. We are open to any suggestions! Thanks
There are two main routes you could take. 1) via Eastern Switzerland (Chur), Liechtenstein, Lake of Constance, Allgäu and then Munich. 2) via Lago di Garda, Bozen (Bolzano), Innsbruck, Garmisch to Munich. The first ones allows you to spend a few days at the Lake of Constance, visit St. Gallen, Mt. Säntis (great view from the summit), Lindau, Friedrichshafen (home of the Zeppelins) etc. The other route allows you to spend time at Lago di Garda (although it's quite similar to Lake Como), South Tyrol/Alto Adige, Meran, Bozen, Innsbruck, Garmisch, Mt. Zugspitze etc.
