On top of the $180 from Faux London (Stansted) to Rome, you have to figure in the cost of getting to Stansted - about $36.
Did someone say RyanAir is cheap?
I have flown Vueling Paris to Rome. My husband has used Tuifly and Air Berliner. All were fine, but be very sure to read fine print, and follow rules exactly,, no you cannot show up even 5 minutes past published check in time, and yes, they will charge you mightly for any overwieght baggage.
Sandra, did you check the prices for British Airways from London to Rome? They can often be quite competitive. They fly out of both LHR and LGW to Rome.
