Which Ferry line do you recommend in 2024 traveling from Heraklion, Crete to Piraeus? The online reviews are worrisome. Is it better to fly? If so, which airline do you recommend? Thank you in advance!!

It may be easier to fly. I took the Blue Star ferry from Paros to Piraeus. It was immediately after a storm and the sea was a little rough. However, overall, I was very satisfied.
For flying, I think Aegean Airlines is the best.

Our first experience ever with Fast Ferries going from Piraeus Port in Athens to Heraklion, Crete, on a day trip was a very good experience getting to view the islands of Syros, Paros, Ios, Mykonos & Santorini albeit 9 hours long. If one has the time, I highly recommend.
