Starting May 30th, 2011, Swiss airline Edelweiss Air will connect Whitehorse and Anchorage in Alaska directly with Zurich, Switzerland. Also from May German low cost airline Air Berlin commences their JFK to Berlin Tegel nonstop services... Berlin TXL is one of the airline's major hubs and is their gateway to Europe and Asia.
